Aston Martin's DBX SUV Receives Updates Aston Martin's DBX, the luxury automaker's first and only SUV, is getting a refresh with some key changes. The most notable update is that the regular DBX model has been discontinued, leaving only the DBX707 variant with a high-output twin-turbo V8 engine producing 697 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque as the sole option for buyers. In addition to the engine upgrade, the interior of the DBX707 has also seen some significant changes.

The design of the panels has been adjusted to create a more distinct separation between the driver and passenger sides, as well as the upper and lower sections housing the infotainment screen and air vents. Updates to the physical controls, including the steering wheel and door handles, give the interiors a more modern look. The traditional dash-mounted gear selector buttons have been replaced with a small toggle lever in the center console, reminiscent of Porsche's design.

The screens have also been enhanced, with a 12.3-inch display for the instruments and a 10.25-inch unit for the infotainment system.

Additionally, there are new chrome accents and larger veneer sections available in a variety of materials, including oak or ziricote wood, carbon fiber, and piano black trim. Owners can choose from a selection of upholstery options, including the Inspire Comfort with "matrix embroidery" and quilted leather, or the Inspire Sport with "vector embroidery" and Alcantara. For those looking for a more personalized interior, Q by Aston Martin offers custom schemes.

Other modifications to the DBX707 include retuned shocks and air springs, flush-mounted door handles that pop out when approached, five new paint colors, new wheel finishes, flush glass side mirrors, and a standard 14-speaker, 800-watt sound system. Production of the updated DBX707 is set to begin in the second quarter of this year, with deliveries scheduled for the same period. Pricing details have not been disclosed yet.
