Audi introduces 2025 S3 with upgraded Torque Splitter, increased power, and updated styling

The Audi S3 for 2025 is set to receive an array of updates aimed at enhancing its performance as a sporty sedan. One of the major upgrades includes the incorporation of the Torque Splitter from the RS3, providing true torque vectoring to the rear axle. Moreover, the S3 is now equipped with a 2.

0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 328 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, marking an increase of 23 and 15, respectively. This power boost enables the S3 to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.7 seconds.

In addition to the engine enhancements, the S3 also benefits from chassis upgrades such as stiffer bearings, new pivot bearings for increased negative wheel camber, optimized steering ratio, re-tuned adaptive suspension system, and an improved stability control system. Furthermore, all new S3 models come with larger brakes and grippier tires mounted on 19-inch wheels. The exterior of the 2025 Audi S3 has been revamped to exude a sportier aesthetic, aligning with the recent A3 refresh.

The S3 now features a new grille, bumpers, exhaust outlet, and a range of color options to choose from. Customizable headlights with four different light signatures and new color choices like District Green, Ascari Blue, Progressive Red, and Daytona Gray Matte are also available. Inside the cabin, the S3 boasts a new shifter design, updated air vents, increased ambient lighting, additional USB-C ports, and a wireless phone charger.

While specific pricing and on-sale date details for the 2025 model year in the U.S. are yet to be disclosed, they are expected to be announced closer to the launch date.
