"Introducing the 2025 Genesis Electric G80: New EV Sedan Unveiled Including the Magma Edition"

Genesis has officially unveiled a revamped version of its Electrified G80 sedan, as well as a high-performance Magma variant. The Genesis G80 EV Magma Concept made its debut at the Beijing motor show, showcasing a more extreme version of the popular sedan. CarExpert reports that the standard Electrified G80 is expected to arrive in early 2025.

Earlier, Genesis introduced the G80 Magma Concept, a special edition model tailored for the Middle Eastern market. The company has not disclosed which global markets will receive the new electric version. While specific technical details have not been revealed yet, Genesis has mentioned upgrades such as a wider track-tuned suspension system, larger brakes, and lightweight 21-inch wheels with staggered tire widths.

The car also boasts cosmetic enhancements like a redesigned front grille, a rear diffuser, and a ducktail spoiler for improved aerodynamics. Inside the G80 EV Magma Concept, drivers can expect premium Alcantara and quilted leather upholstery, carbon-fiber inserts, and a blue weave design for a touch of luxury. SangYup Lee, Head of Genesis Global Design, expressed excitement about introducing the Genesis Magma series to China, emphasizing the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional performance and design to Chinese consumers.

In addition to the Magma Concept, Genesis presented a refreshed Electrified G80 in Vision Blue, a color tailored for the Chinese market. The updated model features a longer wheelbase, echoing luxury car trends in China where extended-length variants are popular. The Electrified G80 receives advanced technology upgrades like a 27-inch OLED display, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and improved noise reduction for a comfortable driving experience.
