Acura has updated their model lineup for the three-row MDX for the upcoming year, introducing enhanced audio and driver-assist features to their luxury mid-size SUV. The 2025 MDX has undergone a light facelift, with significant changes made to the interior including a 12.3-inch touchscreen replacing the touchpad. The drivetrain remains the same, with engine options including a 3.5-liter V-6 and a turbo 3.0-liter V-6.
Despite these changes, the 2025 Acura MDX still retains many of the features that made the 2024 model popular among consumers. With its powerful engine choices and impressive handling, the MDX promises to deliver the same driving experience that was praised in the previous model. The updates made to the interior and trim levels provide enhancements to areas where the previous model may have fallen short. One significant change in the 2025 MDX is the introduction of the A-Spec Advance trim level, offering luxurious features previously only available in the Type S model. The new trim level includes quilted leather seats, massaging front seats, and a variety of other premium features. The exterior of all models has been slightly tweaked with a new bumper shape, redesigned grille, and updated wheel designs. Inside, the 2025 MDX features a redesigned center console with a larger touchscreen display, replacing the touchpad from the previous model. The infotainment system supports both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Google integration. The interior also boasts improved insulation and laminated glass to reduce road noise, creating a more comfortable driving experience. There have been no changes to the engines, transmissions, or suspension, so performance and fuel efficiency are expected to remain consistent with the 2024 MDX. Acura has also upgraded their driver aid systems with a new front camera and radar system for improved safety features. Pricing for the 2025 models is yet to be announced, with an expected release date in May 2024.New Touchscreen Technology Finally Replaces Touchpad in 2025 Acura MDX
