Improvements in 2025 Aston Martin DBX Cabin and UI System Address Major Complaints

The 2025 Aston Martin DBX has undergone a transformation to address previous customer concerns about its interior and user interface. The 542-hp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 model has been discontinued, making way for the more powerful 697-hp DBX 707 as the only available option.

The main focus of the update is the interior, as Aston Martin's executive chairman Lawrence Stroll acknowledged the need for a redesign due to feedback from owners. The new DBX now boasts a revamped interior and Aston's own in-house infotainment system. While the exterior design and powertrain of the DBX 707 remain the same, the cabin has been completely overhauled.

The previous model had a confusing mix of controls that were not user-friendly, leading to a lack of ergonomic coherence. The updated interior includes redesigned door cards, a revised dashboard, and a more intuitive control layout. The center console now takes inspiration from the DB12 and Vantage models, featuring a compact gear shifter and touchscreen with Aston Martin's Aston UX system.

Enhancements have also been made in connectivity, with the inclusion of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as upgraded audio systems. Minor exterior changes include new paint choices and updated door mirrors to accommodate cameras for a 3-D parking display system. Mechanically, the DBX 707 still boasts the powerful 697-hp twin-turbo V-8 engine, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a 48-volt anti-roll system.

Deliveries of the revised DBX 707 are anticipated to commence in the second quarter of the year, with pricing information yet to be revealed.
